À perte de chant

I’ve always admired birds and their song. I wanted to pay tribute to them by immersing myself in their universe through images that illustrate philosophical texts and the interview I conducted with ornithologists specializing in birdsong. The project is part of « Conversation matters », a collective edition aimed at initiating a more in-depth work.

Experimentation

One of the things I love most with illustration is experimenting with my drawing by creating more elaborate images in color, for example. Whatever the medium or technique, the aim is to express my style in as many different ways as possible.

Etching

Printmaking came into my practice at a time when I was stuck in my work, feeling that I was staying in my comfort zone without breaking out of the digital medium. It allowed me to explore a new facet of my creativity, a way of having a more physical relationship with the medium, using materials […]

Lettres à ma distraction

I’ve always had a problem with concentration, ever since I was a child, I’ve been distracted and a bit of a dreamer. This project was an opportunity for me to come to terms with a part of myself that may sometimes have been harmful, but which I now see as a blessing. In this series […]

Recherches en perspective

Recherche en perspective is a collaboration set up by « Ohme », a team of engineers keen to build bridges between art and science. I had the opportunity to work with Céline Kermish, a philosopher interested in the ethical issues surrounding radioactive waste. The aim of our collaboration was to re-explain the basics of radioactive waste, including […]

Brussels Bookfair 2023

Last year I displayed an illustration in the « youth » section of the Brussels Book Fair. The theme was rather broad: children’s stories. I drew on what I liked about these stories and the references I’d had myself when I was younger.

Tesla et moi

This graphic information processing work explores the life of Nikola Tesla, an inventor as brilliant as he was whimsical. There’s an aspect with more scientific representations to try and explain technical concepts, and another more narrative aspect with images that are more liberated in the drawing.

Fragments

« Fragments » is a series of testimonies from tattooed people, friends and acquaintances about the sensations and the very special moment that this proximity creates. After collecting these testimonies, I wanted to put drawings on all these words.

Thelma & Louise

Directed by Ridley Scott, released in 1991. The story follows two friends, Thelma and Louise, who go on a trip to escape the monotony of their daily lives. Their journey takes an unexpected turn when they become involved in a criminal incident. What begins as a fun escapade turns into a frantic flight. A collective […]

Sketchbook

I’ve been using a sketchbook every day for a few years now, it’s something that allows me to experiment with a lot of techniques, or keep track of my life by illustrating precious moments for me.
